Program opens doors to the world of medical science is a seven-minute film produced by the Stanford University School of Medicine that documents 2010 SMYSP participants' five weeks at Stanford.

Opportunity of a Lifetime

Opportunity of a Lifetime is a moving and endearing documentary describing the life-changing journey undertaken by the low-income high school participants and their Stanford undergraduate counselors over the course of the 2004 SMYSP Summer Residential Program.

Filmmaker Abby Ginzberg has been working as an independent documentary filmmaker for the past 22 years. Her films focus on race, equality of opportunity and model programs for at-risk youth. Her work has won numerous awards, been broadcast on public television and been distributed nationally educational institutions.
