At SMYSP's 20th Anniversary Leadership Summit and Colloquium held in
August, 2007 on the Stanford Campus, alumni from the past 20 years gathered
together to honor our past, celebrate our present and inspire the future.
At this event, a special painting by artist Danny Broadway commemorating
20 years of SMYSP successes was commissioned and presented to the founders
of the Stanford Medical Youth Science Program: Drs. Marc Lawrence, Michael
McCullough and Marilyn Winkleby.
As part of our fundraising efforts, we are selling 11x17 prints of this
painting for $35 per print, postage paid. (A limited number of prints
signed by the artist are currently available.) If

Volunteers
We are always in need of volunteers to help our programs succeed.
Mentor Cathy Draper (Dental Hygienist, pictured with her 2006 SRP participant
mentee and freshman Stanford student) volunteered with SMYSP for the
first time in 2006. Of SMYSP, Cathy says, “It was the highlight
of my summer to meet every week with my student and establish a relationship
that I hope will last into the future.”
