Summer Residential Program
The Stanford Medical Youth Science Program (SMYSP) hosts an intensive five-week Summer Residential Program for low income and ethnic minority students interested in science, health and medicine. This competitive program offers hands-on training at the Palo Alto Veterans’ Affairs Hospital, Stanford Children’s Hospital, and Stanford Hospital; mentoring from Stanford medical and graduate students, faculty, staff, and health and medical professionals; and college advising.
